A recent survey conducted by an international polling organization revealed that the majority of people around the world believe that it is possible to become a millionaire without money or connections today.
The survey was conducted across five continents—Africa, South America, North America, Europe and Asia—with over 18,000 people taking part.
The results from Africa showed that 49.1% of respondents believed that it was possible to become a millionaire without money or connections, while 50.9% disagreed. In South America, the results were slightly more favorable to those who believed it was achievable, with 52% responding in the affirmative and 48% disagreeing.
In North America, the results were evenly split, with 50.5% saying yes and 49.5% saying no. Europeans had slightly more of an inclination towards believing in the potential to become a millionaire without money or connections, with 51.8% of respondents saying yes and 48.2% saying no. The results from Asia were identical to those from North America, with 50.5% saying yes and 49.5% saying no. Finally, Oceanians had the strongest belief in the concept with 51.7% agreeing and 48.3% disagreeing.
When the results from all of the continents were combined, the overall result was 50.8% yes and 49.2% no, indicating a very slight majority in favour of those who believe that it is possible to become a millionaire without money and connections.
The survey indicated that people around the world believe that, despite the obvious challenges that come with not having either of these things, it is still potentially possible to achieve such success.
